Fellow Barcelonan Nehuen and I are starting our new club night, BANANA EMPIRE! In THE BUS sala of Razzmatazz, its a night strictly dedicated to tropical voodoo bounce - that means - cumbia, kuduru, south pacific crunk, soca, dancehall, UK tropical and anything in between with that warmed up, low end fetishist flavour from the outer fringes of the globe.
Our first round of guests - MENEO, the 8 bit electropical wunderkind from Guatemala who will be hosting a very special dj set, and DJ FACE TIC - Barcelona's master of dancefloor destruction.
Its all going down next thursday, 25 February at Razzmatazz's new Sala, THE BUS. I suggest you be there, in full voodoo regalia, ready to limbo.

This Week's JOINT OF THE WEEK goes to my man for many years, someone who's productions I've always admired and bitten on - man called AOI. The song is 'Floral Foam'. This song shows why he's one of Australia's most coveted remixers and beatsmiths. On a kinda wonky tip, but then, AOI's been doing this loosely quantised shiz years before HudMo and the like.
Suckafish P Jones is a music producer, performer and DJ. Bass is important, so is rhythm. He produces Forcefed Fistfuls bass radio with Prince Nod.
He is good at making people dance crazy, and is currently in Barcelona writing, gigging, slowly trying to conquer the world.
